Debra,
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to lung cancer about 22 years ago. She was my very best friend. It did get easier, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't wish she was still here for me to talk to.

Oh, I'm SO sorry! I lost my mom suddenly ten years ago at the very young age of 68. You will miss your mom terribly - I still do. Try and hold on to all the wonderful memories you have of her.

Hugs,

So sorry to hear this. Saying goodbye is so hard, we humans are not designed to do this, we are designed to attach. I wish you and your family all support, you can use it. I do hope that the sweet memories of your mother soon will take over the sad feelings of loss. I lost my mother suddenly and totally unexpected at the age of 69 and what helped me was that I promised her to carry on and not sit and moan forever, because the kids (her grandchildren) should have a good feeling about thinking of their grandmother. Though it is hard to find a balance, especially soon after the loss. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Take care!

I am so sorry to read about your Mom. I also as other posters mention know what a very hard loss this is.

Having a family of close knit sisters does help and will become a comfort.

Thoughts and prayers are with you.
