It's Been Awhile!
A couple of 'before' pics of old Kewpies .. ready to be transformed!..
Oh dear!! been awhile ... having problems with our server!?... so hope to post before it goes down again!! It's our kooky 'little black DSL box' ...had to replace and now this box is blinky too...will try to update soon! Thanks for your patience! In the mean time been working on 'new stuff' hope to post when I can!

So glad to hear from you. I was worried.
As to the modem issue...do you have it plugged into a surge protector? One that you can plug both the phone line AND the power cord into? If not, I recommend you purchase one. I love in an old house and there are little surges almost daily. After I had a modem fry from this the techie suggested it and I have never had the problem again.
Evidently they are very touchy and the least little surge can kill them.
