A Tableful of Paper Clay ..

Well ,here is where I have been spending my days..the Ball Chair was a B gift from my daughter and has been working out fine..

Getting quite addicted to working in paper clay and alot less work than my usual papier mache.

Meow!!! This kitty will be going to 'Ghoultide Gathering' which is creeping up quick.. so lots of more work to do..

Queen of the spiders.. As items dry and get painted I will post some pieces on 'Etsy 'everything else will go to 'Ghoultide Gathering'..

Got 2 of these old German paper mask on ebay.. but didn't win the cat..boohoo.

Some of my dolls are getting in the Halloween mood ..

Here are 3 new dolls won on ebay and Ruby Lane.

Love this Kestner bought the head on ebay a Kestner 154 and the marked Kestner body on Ruby Lane she now has a lovely long mohair blonde wig..anyways that it here..

  4. WoW Debra!
Your table looks amazing! I love that kitty and the little bats are adorable too! I can't wait to see your display at Ghoultide. I have purchased pieces from you the last couple years and I love them!
See you in a few weeks,
    Sylvia

  5. Hey Deb,

Isn't PaperClay the BEST! I can't believe how easy it is to work with, how forgiving and light it is. Your table looks like mine to the tenth power.......wow. I wish I had the time to work on that many at once. Caring for my mom has been a huge sacrifice and although I have five pieces in the works at the moment, I can truly only work on one at a time. Best of luck to you, and I can't wait to see all the pieces finished.

    Hugs,
    Meri

  6. Hi Debra,
I LOVE to see your WIPs and Boy! Have you been BUSY!!! I wish you had a larger magnifying page so we could really get into those pics and see more of what you’ve done…your creations are so wonderful and inspiring. I always learn something from your blog, whether it’s a really cool ergonomics chair that you enjoy, ornament finds at Hobby Lobby, unusual ways to decorate for different seasons, and especially the tools and materials that you use to make your creations…I appreciate all the things you have to say and your encouragement along the way to those you don’t even know. When you are excited about a purchase or a new way to make things, it’s so much fun! I wish you well at Ghoultide with lots of sales and exciting, fun times! Also, I hope your sales are riding high with Bethany Lowe. Thanks for the new update!

  8. Hi, I'm a new follower of your blog. Wow, are you talented! I have yet to work with paper clay, I have a little package and I'm going to try to make a pumpkin to get my feet wet. Eventually I'd like to
make a doll's head to go with a prim doll
    pattern.
    Warm Regards,
    Susan
