Jesus in the House

Guess who is standing in my kitchen?! I'm in the process of repairing and painting a large life size staute of Jesus for the Catholic Church in our town ..so here are the before pictures..
A few Thanksgiving cards to use..Got all my turkeys up will post pictures with my new camera[these are photos with my one one..sad I know]

Jeez... I have been on the crazy train the past few days.. Thank you Dani & Kristen! Dani and Kristen from 'Spooky Times Jingles' have been helping me build my pages for the site..well there are a few kinks in my pages still ...but learning how to build pages..unfortunately, that left no time for my working on my papier mache and special projects...well,now back to work!

  6. Oh my GOSH! I have worked on many of these for a huge collector in Charlotte! I also completely renovated a life size Jesus! I would love to talk with you about it! I adore santos figures! The one I worked on was very old. The collector, Dr. Robicsek, has an inner museum full of centuries old Catholic statuaries as well as ancient ancient South American Indian pottery. I had to re build the base, sand and fill, and re paint the life size one. I have re sculpted/carved fingers and hands too!

  9. That Jesus in my kitchen reminds me of my nephews. Whenever they see the priest of their local parrish out and about, they say there's Jesus again. Blessings!
