Heartfelt Thank you ..
Was surprised to find all the kind thoughts on my blog messages as have been a limbo here..My mom is now at my sister's home and Hospice was ready and fast in helping to make things comfortable for her.. Saturday all the siblings will be together for the last time with our mom..I am the oldest of 5 ..our mom was fiercely independent, full of energy always... and stubborn as heck !! But gave us our love movies and food..worked hard all her life, drove us crazy and we all thought she would live to be a 100!! So really was a shock to learn of the stomach cancer and everything just going wrong so fast.....thank you again for taking the time to read my blog and just connecting...this was a picture at Thanksgiving at my sister's home , my daughter, me, my sister and her daughter our mom and holding her first great-granddaughter..

So sorry to hear that things are going the wrong way. There are times that you think that life sucks, when it is all going sides that you never could foresee. I read that you thought that your mom would live to be a 100, I totally reckognize that. My mom died of cancer when she was 69 leaving me more shocked than I could be if I knew that she was immortal, so I think I know what you and your siblings are going through. What can I say? I'm thinking of you, take care LiLi.

Deb, Sending you hugs and prayers. Loosing my Mom (about a year and a half ago) to cancer was one of the hardest things I've ever done. You have my utmost sympathy. Hold tight to your sweet memories of her. Take care.

I am so sorry. I so understand this time....my Mum just passed away...and that time together is so important. I don't even know what to say to offer comfort, but please know I'll pray for you and your family.

Oh Debbie...I am so sorry to hear this. It has to be so hard on you all, the waiting. I miss my mother so much, I lost her suddenly 36 year ago, but it seem like yesterday. You were blessed to have had so much time with her. We never think about what we will or will not miss...make memories. Remember the times Good and Bad. And you do have the support of your sisters, and they of you. God Bless you all. Here for you if you need anything.
