Home Again Home Again ..

Yippee! Good news and bad news received my 'Halloween Art Apron' from Calamity Kim http://www.calamitykim.typepad.com/ but not in time for the 'Halloween Show'.. will show in next posting..anyhow look at the awesome Paper Doll and card that came with..


and this lovely Owl card from one my Halloween Swap partners and a sweet bag o' candy..

And now... a tour of all the fabulous artists and their creations of the exclusive Halloween Show 'Ghoultide Gathering' http://www.ghoultidegathering.com/ in Northville, Mich.

It was a perfect fall day in a beautiful location..everyone was in great spirits..looking forward to next year!!


Here is my daughter and me at the end of the day..without her help and support over the years I could never do the shows..Thank you dearest for all your help!!

Scott Smith of Rucus Studio http://www.rucusstudio.com/ has amazing work and never ceases to surprise! Managed to snag a Devil container before everything was gone!

This was the outside of the Schoolhouse..The show was in 2 buildings..

Wow and so cool... handpainted chalkware by Judi Vaillancourt !

A favorite fellow Michigan artist is Debbie Hawkins of He-Be-Je-Bes...just love her vintage style..sorry her other photos were too blurred to post..[i ran around quick in the morning to get everyones booth so alot of pictures were poopy!]



'King of Mice Studios' Carolee Clark http://www.kingofmice.com/ has dazzling painted pieces ..oh the rich colors...I am very lucky to have one of her beautiful pieces ,received in a swap!! How cool is that!?





Finally our last artist, Vaughan and Stephanie Rawson 'The Whimsical Whittler' http://www.whimsicalwhittler.com/ Is that name the perfect description or what!?

  12. Thanks so much for sharing about the show! I would have loved to be there. I went to a show at Petaluma this year, (Halloween and Vine) but no photos were allowed. I know it is a lot of work to create a post about a big event, so thanks for going the extra mile for us, your readers.

  16. I am so very sorry that you didn't get the apron in time- did it fit? did you like it anyway? I hope so. I hope you can wear it next year. I have the other one almost finished and will put pictures on Flickr when its done- this one is a few inches longer than the other one. The show looks like it was awesome- you almost sold out didn't you? That's great! Nicol Sayre is one of my favorite artists too! Please let me know what you think about your apron when you get time.
