Shopping in Petosky

Dang! went to my 'dashboard ' and found this posting and had 'forgot' to add to my blog! So a month or 2 old.. but is alittle bit of fun stuff , while I was away..The Deer is 'MudPie' melamine coaster [ got the plates too]..

The Cabbage bowl was my Birthday present from my sister..love it.. and added the 2 tall bunnies to my 'faux chocolate' bunny collection..Bought them at a sweet shop in Petosky..

My Thomas Paul melamine plates.. A funky theme on transferware.. maybe fun for a fall table setting.. the owls are my favorite..

My sister on a windy day of shopping in Petosky..My first time there and really liked the shops and layout of the town.we had a nice time and look forward to going back...

This was a cool shop all done in creams, rust peeling paints and all the stuff we like to ooh! about.. and they had a table top done in Turnips in glasses..really was kinda pretty..

well, my favorite place was our first stop The Quiet Moose.. rustic chic, lodge look interiors and lovely gardens in the Back of the store..

Inside the store a cottage look,love the painted dresser and bird lamps..

Shell buttons on furnishings and candle sticks..

Hmm ..not quite our cabin but got some nice ideas..

Like the birch bark valance..we could do that.. this is where I got the Deer plates..

Yeah, that's me ..not the best picture,l ook kinda grumpy but wasn't.. just tired.. and that desk need some accessorizing!..think I need a coffee ..
