Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Where is Spring?? I actually saw a Robin yesterday but was too slow with the camera..

Dreadful ! The view yesterday morning ..my poor old lilac tree..

This is by the kitchen door, Friday morning... but it really was pretty everything coated in sparkling snow..a good day to turn on the oven and bake!

Our pontoon boat is waiting for summer and lazy days on the lake and rivers around us...We can hardly wait !!

Old rose bushes and persian lilac all covered in heavy snow and my honeysuckle looking droopy..

More droopy roses..

Cute China Doll feet..

A Japanese Bunny Sweater Dress..kinda cute if I only weighed 100 lbs. and was 16 years old!!

Waaaah! I'm so envious of your snow I could scream! Last week we were in the VERY humid mid-80s. And Robins? Arrrghhhh! Those little bearers of bad news (Spring) were here before Valentine's Day. They may be pretty lil' birdies, but for Houston, they represent the coming of heat, stickiness, having to use the a/c, etc. With that said, could I please borrow a truckload of snow? LOL! Your doll shoes? WAY cute! And thanks for the links! Love your blog, Debra!

Look at all that snow. Things are beginning to turn green around here. I do love snow, but it should keep it's place. It's really rude to cover lilac and rose bushes in April.

Hi Debra,
I'm sure that you are sick of the snow by now and can't wait until Spring, but I must say the photos of your yard covered in snow look wonderful to me, we don't get snow here where I live, only ever seen snow twice in my life. Thank you for showing us.
Cheers Linda
